With significant experience in the higher education and PK-12 sectors, Dr. Sally Beatty is an inspiration for all Best in the World Teachers partners and employees. Dr. Beatty is responsible leading the strategy and operations for the organization's success and has made a significant impact on BIW Teachers growth and success.

Dr. Sally Beatty prior to joining Best in the World Teachers, Dr. Beatty worked with Chief Executive Officers and Board Directors to solve strategic talent challenges. With almost two decades experience in organizational and executive consulting, Dr. Beatty has experience coaching, advising and developing executives to achieve their potential and organizational performance goals and building educational programs to support high quality learning experiences.  She has experience with Hogan, DISC, MBTI and StrenghtsQuest assessments, as well as helping organizations develop their own assessment tools.  She is certified in Google SIYLI Leadership Executive Coach Program, Heidrick & Struggles’ Culture Shaping Senn Delaney model, Korn Ferry’s Leadership Architect, Korn Ferry’s Assessment of Leader Potential, and Korn Ferry’s CEO and Executive Succession Planning.

Dr. Beatty worked for Korn Ferry and Heidrick & Struggles, and was co-founder of Symposium Group, a consulting firm that advised private equity clients on organizational strategy and integration for acquisition targets. At Kaplan Higher Education, she had oversight for faculty development, student retention, student services, career services, curriculum, academic technology and accreditation across over 70 college campuses. Earlier in her career, she spent time in change management roles at Accenture, Getty Images and Saks in management and organizational development roles. Her first professional role was leading the Women in Science Foundation at The Ohio State University.

Dr. Beatty has been invited to talk about talent, diversity, human performance, and new trends in education and organizational behavior at conferences and industry events. She has taught organizational development at the masters and doctoral level, as well as undergraduate courses in strategy, entrepreneurship, and marketing. Sally received her bachelors, masters and doctorate from The Ohio State University. As an undergraduate student, she spent a semester at London School of Economics and as a graduate student was awarded a FLAS Fellowship to conduct graduate research at Northwestern University.

Dr. Beatty served four-years as a member elect of her local school board, and now serves as an elected member of the DuPage County Board of Education. She has been an ed tech mentor at SXSW EDU, a judge for SIIA CODIE Edtech Awards, and recipient of an Educause Next Generation Learning Award.
